A New Era for Using Natural Pigments: The Case of the C50 Carotenoid Called Bacterioruberin
ABSTRACT Haloarchaea are extremophilic microorganisms belonging to the Archaea domain that require high salt concentrations to live, thus inhabiting ecosystems like salty ponds, salty marshes, or extremely salty lagoons. They are more abundant and widely distributed worldwide than initially expected.

Synthesis and Characterization of MnO2 nanoparticles mediated by Raphia hookeri seed
In this study, managanese dioxide nanoparticles (MnO2-NP) was synthesized. Raphia hookeri seed was used as a bioreductant for the synthesis of MnO2-NPs. The biosynthesized MnO2-NPs was investigated for their reaction, structure and morphology.

The Determination of Methimazole by Infrared Spectrophotometry
Abstract A method for the determination of methimazole by column chromatography and infrared spectrophotometry was subjected to collaborative study in four district laboratories. Although the results were favorable, they were not sufficiently precise nor accurate to recommend the method for adoption.
