Near‐Infrared‐Driven Metal–Organic Frameworks‐Based Nanorobots for Controlled Photothermal‐Chemical Therapy Synergistic Induction of Cancer Cell Death

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
To achieve efficient cancer cell death, a bowl‐shaped PDA@UiO‐66@DOX nanorobot drug‐delivery nanoplatform was developed. Near‐infrared irradiation not only drives the nanorobot to exhibit self‐thermophoretic motion and elevates temperature but also triggers Doxorubicin (DOX) release via hyperthermia, enhancing cancer cells uptake of DOX and thereby ...

Catalytic Kinetic Determination of Silver through its Catalytic Effect on Congo Red-Peroxodisulphate Reaction [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2003
A kinetic-spectrophotometric procedure is reported for determination of trace amounts of Ag(I). This method is based on catalytic effect of silver ion on the oxidation of congo red by potassium peroxodisulphate at pH=3.4 and 30 oC in the presence of 1,10-

The Spectrum of the Night Sky Over Kitt Peak: Changes Over Two Decades

open access: yes, 2010
New absolute spectrophotometry of the Kitt Peak night sky has been obtained in 2009/10, which we compare to previously published data obtained in 1988 and 1999, allowing us to look for changes over the past two decades.

High‐Performance Capacitive Sensor Based on Polyphosphazene‐Modified InP Electrodes for Hydroquinone Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
A high‐performance capacitive sensor based on polyphosphazene‐coated n‐InP electrodes (InP/PPP) enables highly sensitive hydroquinone detection. The InP/PPP interface, characterized by XPS and SEM analyses, provides a linear range of 1–100 µm with a detection limit of 0.73 µm.

Titrimetric, spectrophotometric and kinetic methods for the assay of atenolol using bromate–bromide and methyl orange [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2006
Three new methods have been developed for the determination of atenolol in bulk drug and in tablet formulation. The methods are based on the oxidation–bromination reaction of the drug by bromine, generated in situ by the action of acid on a bromate ...

A new method for the separation of androgens from estrogens and for the partition of estriol from the estrone-estradiol fraction: with special reference to the identification and quantitative microdetermination of estrogens by ultraviolet absorption spectrophotometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 1948
It is recognized generally that a qualitative and quantitative knowledge of the excretion pattern of the urinary estrogens is one index to an understanding of the functional activity of the ovary and adrenal cortex.
