The novel anti‐tumor nanoparticle ICG‐HA‐ADH‐CBA‐TATKLA (IHTK) can simultaneously release the fusion peptide TAT‐KLA (TK) and indocyanine green (ICG) in the tumor microenvironment. Specifically, TK can directly activate the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway to induce tumor cell apoptosis; while ICG, under near‐infrared irradiation, enables phototherapy ...

Effect of organic biocolourants on lightfastness and mechanical properties of polylactic acid
Abstract Most modern colourants are acquired from petroleum‐based sources or mining, which often causes environmental degradation. Consequently, alternative colouring solutions are sought, such as using biocolourants, which are organic colourants from bio‐based sources.

The use of nanotechnology in sunscreens has increased, with various filters and organoclays tested for new intercalated formulations. As animal toxicity tests decrease, New Approach Methodologies are favoured. The S4 + OMC‐NC improved cell survival under SSL and showed antimutagenic properties, making it a promising candidate for safe photoprotection ...

Abstract figure legend Overnight reduced dietary intake (RED; small dinner with skipped breakfast), compared to a sufficient dietary condition (CON), induced body fluid hypotonicity during moderate exercise in a hot environment, despite equal total fluid intake. RED led to lower serum osmolality and reduced urinary sodium excretion, without differences

A bimetallic porphyrin metal–organic framework with nanoflower‐like architecture is synthesized as a high‐performance photocatalyst for urea synthesis. The synergy between dual atomic active sites and nanostructure engineering enables an excellent performance with a urea yield of 2459.8 µg h−1 gcat−1 via photocatalytic co‐reduction of CO2 and nitrate ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Biochar can play a relevant role in the soil‐plant system by affecting both the dynamics of agrochemicals and plant growth. This study investigated the potential of a poplar wood biochar produced at 850°C to control the retention and leaching of the long‐persistent fungicide boscalid (BOS) in soil and the early growth of ...

Oxychlorine Species on Mars: A Review
Abstract Oxychlorine species (mainly perchlorate and chlorate) have been identified at multiple locations on the surface of Mars by both orbiter and in situ rovers. They have also been found in martian meteorites. Cl‐isotopes in meteoritic minerals suggest that an oxychlorine cycle has been operating on the martian surface for the last ∼4 billion years.
