Five-nucleon spectroscopic amplitudes for 1p-shell nuclei

Nuclear Physics A, 1985
Abstract Spectroscopic amplitudes of the 5 He or 5 Li cluster in the ground and first excited states are given for lp-shell nuclei. These Spectroscopic amplitudes are calculated with the aid of intermediate-coupling wave functions of initial and final nuclei. Sum rules for pickup and stripping reactions are presented.

Determination of spectroscopic amplitudes from electron scattering data

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1979
It is shown how the spectroscopic amplitudes for the removal of a particle from anA-body system can be determined from electron-nucleus scattering data. The formalism used is translationally invariant and therefore the spectroscopic amplitudes thus determined require no further «center-of-mass corrections». The method is applied to the16O nucleus.

Spectroscopic studies of the small-amplitude Cepheid SU Cas

Astronomy Letters, 2013
A new set of 16 high-resolution spectra for the small-amplitude Cepheid SU Cas obtained in 2007–2009 has allowed us to determine its atmospheric parameters (Teff = 6345 ± 30 K, log g = 2.40, Vt = 3.25 km s−1) and to measure its radial velocities. The latter were added to the general list of radial velocities (375 estimates) obtained in the last 90 ...

Mean amplitudes of vibration for cyclohexene from spectroscopic data

Monatshefte fr Chemie, 1974
A normal coordinate analysis is performed for cyclohexene (C6H10). The calculated frequencies for C6H10 and C6D10 are reported. The mean amplitudes of vibration for all types of interatomic distances in these two molecules were also computed. Those of the bonded distances and nonbonded C−C distances in C6H10 are compared with the corresponding data ...

Spectroscopic determination of the internal amplitude of frequency sweeping TAE

Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, 2004
From an understanding of the processes that cause a marginally unstable eigenmode of the system to sweep in frequency, it is shown how the absolute peak amplitude of the mode can be determined from the spectroscopic measurements of the frequency sweeping rate, e.g. with Mirnov coils outside the plasma.

Spectroscopic ellipsometry measurements with the Grating Division-of-Amplitude Photopolarimeter

SPIE Proceedings, 2002
The Grating Division-of-Amplitude Photopolarimeter (G-DOAP) obtains very rapid measurements of the complete polarization state of light over the spectral bandwidth of the instrument. Application to polarimetry, ellipsometry, and Mueller matrix ellipsometry is discussed.

Alpha-particle spectroscopic amplitudes for sd shell nuclei

Nuclear Physics A, 1975
Abstract Theoretical predictions for spectroscopic amplitudes corresponding to α-particle stripping and pickup reactions on all stable sd shell nuclei with 16 ≦ A ≦ 28 are tabulated. A pure (Os) 4 configuration for the internal wave function of the transferred nucleons is assumed.

Spectroscopic amplitudes for two-cluster transfer between 1p-shell nuclei

Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, 1991
Spectroscopic amplitudes for separation of two clusters from 1p-shell nuclei were calculated. The calculations were performed with the aid of intermediate-coupling shell model wavefunctions. The population of final states produced by simultaneous transfer of two clusters from 1p-shell nuclei was discussed.

Spectroscopic imaging by dephasing amplitude changing (SIDAC).

Radiation medicine, 1989
A technique for spectroscopic imaging based on a new concept of dual encoding (i.e., both phase and frequency encoding) of position along the direction of the read-out gradient is proposed. The phase encoding is produced by changing the amplitude of the dephasing gradient as in conventional phase encoding.

Determination of two-nucleon spectroscopic amplitudes from (d,α) analyzing powers

Physical Review C, 1985
Tensor and vector analyzing powers and cross sections have been measured for low-lying levels populated by the sup89Y(d,..cap alpha..) sup87Sr reaction at 9.0, 12.0, and 16.0 MeV. Angular distributions of dsigma/d..cap omega.., Asuby, Asubyy, Asubxx, and Asubxz have been analyzed using full finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation calculations ...
