Spectroscopic and laser characteristics of Ti:Al_2O_3

Journal of the Optical Society of America B, 1986
Spectroscopic measurements and laser performance of Ti:Al2O3 are discussed in detail. Data on absorption and fluorescence spectra and fluorescence lifetime as a function of temperature are presented. Laser characteristics observed with pulsed-dye-laser, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG-laser, and argon-ion-laser pumping are covered and show that nearly quantum-

Spectroscopic characteristics of GdVO4: Dy3+ crystal

Optical Materials, 2014
Abstract Room temperature optical absorption, emission spectrum of GdVO4: Dy3+ crystal grown by Czochralski (CZ) method were measured and analyzed. Spectral parameters were calculated in the framework of the Judd–Ofelt theory. The GdVO4: Dy3+ crystal showed two intense and relatively broad absorption bands in UV wavelength range centered at 390 and ...

Investigation on 3D printing ability of soybean protein isolate gels and correlations with their rheological and textural properties via LF-NMR spectroscopic characteristics

, 2020
Soy protein isolate (SPI) with/without xanthan gum (at 0.5 g/30 g of SPI) and NaCl solution at different concentrations (1, 2 or 3 g in 100 mL of distilled water) was assessed for its 3D printing ability; the texture of the printed gels was also ...

Interaction of soy protein isolate fibrils with betalain from red beetroots: Morphology, spectroscopic characteristics and thermal stability.

Food Research International, 2020
Betalain has been reported as water-soluble, nitrogenous pigments with biological activities. However, their sensitivity to thermal degradation limits their application during food processing.

Exploring the detailed spectroscopic characteristics, chemical and biological activity of two cyanopyrazine-2-carboxamide derivatives using experimental and theoretical tools.

Spectrochimica Acta Part A - Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2020
This article represents the spectroscopic and computational studies of two new pyrazine compounds. In order to establish the structure and functional nature of the compounds, we have employed Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR) and Raman spectra ...

Spectroscopic characteristics of relaxing systems

Physics Letters A, 1981
Abstract The motion of a relaxing system can be revealed by its optical properties. the computed emission spectrum of an excited solid-state impurity in a crystal, which relaxes towards the equilibrium position, exhibits a series of peaks revealing the stops at the classical turning points. Detection limits are discussed.

Crystal growth, spectroscopic characteristics, and Judd-Ofelt analysis of Tm:GdScO3

Optical materials (Amsterdam), 2020
Tm3+- doped GdScO3 single crystal was successfully grown by the edge-defined film-fed method (EFG) for the first time. The spectroscopic properties of the crystal were investigated at room temperature.
