Spectroscopic characteristics of doped nanoporous aluminum oxide

Materials Science and Engineering: B, 2004
In this work, we present photoluminescence characterization of rare earth ion doped nanoporous aluminum oxide synthesized by anodization process in different aqueous electrolyte solutions. We found that the luminescence of doped aluminum oxide strongly depends on the synthesis medium. When synthesized in inorganic acid only rare earth ions fluorescence

Terahertz spectroscopic characteristic of metallic slit array

2009 34th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, 2009
Terahertz (THz) transmission spectrum of metallic slit array is studied by means of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Frequency-selective transmission at terahertz frequencies of metallic slit array is shown experimentally and analyzed by numerical simulation.

Growth and spectroscopic characteristics of Yb:LPS single crystal

Journal of Crystal Growth, 2007
For the first time, a high optical quality Yb3+-doped lutetium pyrosilicate laser crystal Lu2Si2O7 (LPS) was grown by the Czochralski (Cz) method. The segregation coefficient of ytterbium ion in Yb:LPS crystal detected by the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (TCP-AES) method is equal to 0.847.

Chemical and spectroscopic characteristics of humic acids

2013
To characterise soil humic acids (HAs) extracted from Spanish marshes formed under different vegetation types (Spartina maritima (GSp), Juncus maritimus (GJc), Phragmites australis (GPh), and Scirpus maritimus (VSc)), soil depths (0-20, 20-40 and 40-60 cm), physiographic position (low and high marshes), wetland types (salt marshes and lagoons) and ...

SPECTROSCOPIC CHARACTERISTICS OF COUMARIN 540 A IN SOL-GEL

Spectroscopy Letters, 2001
The present paper deals with the spectroscopic study of coumarin 540 A in sol-gel and other liquid solvents in the 190–500 nm wavelength region. The electronic absorption spectra are compared with coumarin and its parent aromatic molecule anthracene. Theoretically, ground state geometries are optimized using the MNDO molecular orbital method.

Spectroscopic characteristics of metalloporphyrins used in photodynamic therapy.

Oftalmologia (Bucharest, Romania : 1990), 2004
The photodynamic therapy (PDT) became more and more widely used in the treatment of different malignant tumors. For present studies, porphyrins and haematoporphyrin derivatives, in the conditions of N2 laser radiation, were chosen because their strong absorption along a large spectral range; this makes possible the excitation of their fluorescence at ...

IR spectroscopical characteristics of metamict allanite-(Ce)

Geologica Macedonica, 2012
Metamict samples of allanite-(Ce) were recrystallized in hydrothermal conditions at 150°C for 2, 5 and 24 h. The recrystallization of metamict samples was rapid and complete, without the appearance of additional phases when heated for 2 and 5 h, but when heated for 24 h, the structure is disturbed.
