We obtain the resolvent operator of the matrix Schrödinger equation on the half-line with a quasi-selfadjoint matrix potential Q. We also assume each entry of Q is Lebesgue measurable on (0,∞) and Q has a finite first moment.

On the Complex Spectrum of the Underlying Operator of a Reliability Model
We study the complex point spectral distribution of the underlying operator of the system consisting of a reliable machine, a storage buffer with infinite capacity and an unreliable machine.

Some new bounds on resolvent energy of a graph
Let GG be a simple graph of order nn with eigenvalues λ1≥λ2≥…≥λn.{\lambda }_{1}\ge {\lambda }_{2}\ge \ldots \ge {\lambda }_{n}. The resolvent energy of GG is a spectrum-based graph invariant defined as ER(G)=∑i=1n(n−λi)−1.{\rm{ER}}(G)={\sum }_{i=1}^{n ...

Branching form of the resolvent at thresholds for multi-dimensional discrete Laplacians
We consider the discrete Laplacian on Zd, and compute asymptotic expansions of its resolvent around thresholds embedded in continuous spectrum as well as those at end points.

Some Resolvent Estimates in Harmonic Analysis
This thesis contains three papers about three different estimates of resolvents in harmonic analysis. These papers are: Paper 1. ``A Wiener tauberian theorem for weighted convolution algebras of zonal functions on the automorphism group of the unit disc''

Spectral representation of the resolvent of a discrete operator
Let T be a discrete linear operator in a Hilbert space H with spectrum σ(T) = λii = 1∞, let Rλ(T) denote the resolvent of T, and let Pi denote the projection of H onto the generalized eigenspace N((γi,I − T)mj) along R((γi, I − T)mj), where mi is the ...

Exponential decay of two-body eigenfunctions: A review
We review various results on the exponential decay of the eigenfunctions of two-body Schrödinger operators. The exponential, isotropic bound results of Slaggie and Wichmann for eigenfunctions of Schrödinger operators corresponding to eigenvalues below ...

The spectrum of periodic point perturbations and the Krein resolvent formula
We study periodic point perturbations, H, of a periodic elliptic operator H"0 on a connected complete non-compact Riemannian manifold X, endowed with an isometric, effective, properly discontinuous, and co-compact action of a discrete group #GAMMA#.

Spectrum Resolving Power of Hearing: Measurements, Baselines, and Influence of Maskers
Contemporary methods of measurement of frequency tuning in the auditory system are reviewed. Most of them are based on the frequency-selective masking paradigm and require multi-point measurements (a number of masked thresholds should be measured to obtain a single frequency-tuning estimate). Therefore, they are rarely used for practical needs.
