Spectrum and resolvent of a partial integral operator

Applicable Analysis, 2008
We consider the partial integral operator where w(.,. ), K(.,. ,. ), φ are given functions. Norm estimates for the resolvent and bounds for the spectrum are established. Our main tool is the direct integral of Hilbert spaces and recent estimates for norms of the resolvents of compact operators and operators with the compact Hermitian components.

Time resolved spectrum of the fuse arc plasma

Thin Solid Films, 1999
This paper presents the radiation spectrum of the arc plasma in a simple experimental model of a high voltage, high breaking capacity (HBC) fuse. A crowbar circuit is applied to force the arcing current to zero. A 62.5 μm diameter multi-mode silica fibre is used as a light-pipe to carry the plasma radiation from within the arc space of the experimental

The rotationally resolved electronic spectrum of p-cyanophenol

Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2002
The electronic origin transition of p-cyanophenol (4-hydroxy-benzonitrile) at 35547.46 cm−1 was examined using rotationally resolved LIF spectroscopy. The experimentally determined inertial parameters are reported and compared to the results of ab initio calculations. The S1-lifetime of p-cyanophenol is determined to be 10.6 ± 3 ns, considerably longer

[A new measurement method of time-resolved spectrum].

Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2010
A new method for measuring time-resolved spectrum (TRS) is brought forward. Programming with assemble language controlled the micro-control-processor (AT89C51), and a kind of peripheral circuit constituted the drive circuit, which drived the stepping motor to run the monochromator.

Time-resolved phosphorescence spectrum of propynal vapor

Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1989
Abstract The phosphorescence spectrum of gaseous propynal (HCCCHO) is measured by time-resolved techniques following pulsed ( T 1 via direct optical pumping into the S 0 → T 1 absorption transition and (ii) four single vibronic levels (SVL) of S 1 ( O 0 , 6 1 , 4 1 , and 2 1 ).

High-Speed, Time-Resolved Spectrum of a Lightning Stroke

Science, 1966
The first time-resolved spectrum of a return stroke between the cloud and ground has been obtained with a slitless spectrograph. The time for luminosity to rise from zero to its peak in a section of the channel is 10 microseconds or less, and the intense emission lines are attributed to singly ionized nitrogen atoms.
