Subtracting the Raman Spectrum of Solvent for Quantitative Analysis
Journal of Raman SpectroscopyABSTRACTRaman spectroscopy is widely employed for quantitative analysis in aqueous solutions, yet it faces a notable challenge: the overlap of water Raman bands, often used as an internal standard, with analyte bands. To overcome this hurdle, we have developed an automated fitting method that encompasses intensity normalization, solvent subtraction ...

Solution Raman spectrum and normal-co-ordinate analysis of dioxygen difluoride
Journal of the Chemical Society, Dalton Transactions, 1973Raman spectra of O2F2 in CClF3 solution are reported for the first time. A vibrational assignment is proposed based on polarisation data. A reinvestigation of the vibrational-potential function and a calculation of the barrier height to internal rotation have been made.

Critical-point analysis of the two-phonon Raman spectrum of silicon
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1974Abstract Two-phonon Raman spectrum of silicon has been measured in back-scattering configuration at room temperature using Argon ion laser. It reveals many critical points and consists mainly of two-phonon overtone states. The agreement between the calculated density of states from neutron diffraction data and the present Raman spectrum is excellent ...

Raman spectrum calculation and analysis of aflatoxin B1
2013 International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale, 2013Aflatoxin Bl is one of the main harmful ingredients of illegal cooking oil which can lead to liver cancer. This paper indicates the geometry structure of aflatoxin B1, and the structure is optimized through density functional theory (DFT) method. Then we calculate its Raman Spectra and Infrared Spectra separately by using Hartree-Fock (HF) and DFT ...

[EMD Time-Frequency Analysis of Raman Spectrum and NIR].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2016This paper analyzes the Raman spectrum and Near Infrared Spectrum (NIR) with time-frequency method. The empirical mode decomposition spectrum becomes intrinsic mode functions, which the proportion calculation reveals the Raman spectral energy is uniform distributed in each component, while the NIR's low order intrinsic mode functions only undertakes ...

Lattice dynamics and Raman scattering spectrum of elpasolite Rb2KScF6: Comparative analysis
Physics of the Solid State, 2004Raman scattering spectra of elpasolite Rb2KScF6 are studied in a wide temperature range including two phase transitions: from the cubic to the tetragonal phase and then to the monoclinic phase. The experimental Raman scattering spectrum is compared with the lattice vibration spectra of these phases calculated using an ab initio approach.
