The Real Debate over the Senate’s Role in the Confirmation Process [PDF]
The five Supreme Court nominations between 2005 and 2010 brought renewed attention to the Senate’s role in the confirmation process. This Note explores the debate over the Senate’s proper role in that process.

Scaling relations for the entire spectrum in mass-deformed conformal gauge theories [PDF]
We consider mass-deformed conformal gauge theories (mCGT) and investigate the scaling behaviour of hadronic observables as a function of the fermion mass. Applying renormalization group arguments directly to matrix elements, we find m_H ~ m^{1/(1+gamma*)}

About the Nature of the Spectrum of the Periodic Problem for the Heat Equation with a Deviating Argument [PDF]
We study the nature of the spectrum of the periodic problem for the heat equation with a lower-order term and with a deviating argument. A significant influence of the lower-order term on the correct solvability of this problem is found. We obtain a criterion for the strong solvability of the above-mentioned problem.

Generic scaling relation in the scalar $\phi^{4}$ model
The results of analysis of the one--loop spectrum of anomalous dimensions of composite operators in the scalar $ \phi^{4} $ model are presented. We give the rigorous constructive proof of the hypothesis on the hierarchical structure of the spectrum of ...

Hitting sbottom in natural SUSY [PDF]
We compare the experimental prospects of direct stop and sbottom pair production searches at the LHC. Such searches for stops are of great interest as they directly probe for states that are motivated by the SUSY solution to the hierarchy problem of the ...

Adiabatic Spectra During Slowly Evolving
In general, for single field, the scale invariant spectrum of curvature perturbation can be given by either its constant mode or its increasing mode. We show that during slowly expanding or contracting, the spectrum of curvature perturbation given by its

Using the Gell-Mann-Oakes-Renner (GOR) relation and semi-classical arguments, we show that the bulk quark spectrum in QCD exhibits a variety of regimes including the ergodic one described by random matrix theory. We analyze the quark spectral form-factor

On the Fredholm Alternative for the Fučík Spectrum
We consider resonance problems for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian assuming Dirichlet boundary conditions. In particular, we consider resonance problems associated with the first three curves of the Fučík Spectrum.
