On the first curve of the Fučík spectrum for elliptic operators

open access: yesRendiconti Lincei, Matematica e Applicazioni, 2014
In this Note we present a new variational characterization of the first nontrivial curve of the Fučík spectrum for elliptic operators with Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions. Moreover, we describe the asymptotic behaviour and some properties of this curve and of the corresponding eigenfunctions.

Curves with rational chord-length parametrization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
It has been recently proved that rational quadratic circles in standard Bezier form are parameterized by chord-length. If we consider that standard circles coincide with the isoparametric curves in a system of bipolar coordinates, this property comes as ...

Respiratory Sound Classification: From Fluid-Solid Coupling Analysis to Feature-Band Attention

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Based on respiratory sound production mechanisms, we study the relationship between airflow characteristics in the bronchi and sound pressure spectrum curves to implement an end-to-end respiratory sound classification system with a feature-band attention

FUCIK SPECTRUM FOR A THIRD ORDER BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

open access: yesPesquimat, 2014
In this work, the Fucik Spectrum for the boundary value problem is studied, and the Fucik curves contained in this spectrum are described.

Seismic Fragility Assessment of Special Truss Moment Frames (STMF) Using the Capacity Spectrum Method [PDF]

open access: yesCivil Engineering Infrastructures Journal, 2015
Fragility curves represent the probabilities that structural damages, under various levels of seismic excitation, will exceed the specified damage states by means of earthquake intensity damage relations.

A note on the Dancer–Fučík spectra of the fractional p-Laplacian and Laplacian operators

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2015
We study the Dancer–Fučík spectrum of the fractional p-Laplacian operator. We construct an unbounded sequence of decreasing curves in the spectrum using a suitable minimax scheme. For p = 2, we present a very accurate local analysis.

Smarandache Breadth Pseudo Null Curves in Minkowski Space-time [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A regular curve with more than 2 breadths in Minkowski 3-space is called a Smarandache Breadth Curve [8]. In this short paper, we adapt notion of Smarandache breadth curves to Pseudo null curves in Minkowski space-time and study a special case of ...

Research on visible-near infrared spectrum features of typical coal measures rocks

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2019
In order to study coal-rock identification method based on visible-near infrared spectrum technology, 11 types of typical coal measures rocks including three main categories namely shale, sandstone and limestone were collected from four coal mines of ...
