Idling speed regulator of automobile

It can stabilize engine's idling speed, which can reduce the oil consumption when automobile is moving with idling speed. This can prevent automobile engine miss. And idling speed could be regulated by controlling throttle valve by-pass style.

Speed Regulation of Kaplan Turbines
Journal of Fluids Engineering, 1941Abstract In this paper hydraulic-turbine speed-regulation data are presented and compared with calculated performance. Field tests made at the Bonneville and Guntersville power plants are cited. The effect of air admission during load rejection is discussed. Runaway-speed tests in the field are compared with model data.
