Composite sPEEK-TPyP membranes development for portable applications

Composite membranes based on sulphonated Polyetheretherketone (sPEEK) and 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-pyridyl)porphyrin (TPyP) were developed for portable applications. A sulphonation degree of 65% and different loadings (0-5wt%) of TPyP porphyrin were used.

Novel biomimetic actuator based on SPEEK and PVDF

In this study, a novel electro-active polymer based on a blended polymer membrane of sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (i.e., SPEEK) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (i.e., PVDF) is newly developed for the realization of a cost-effective and high-performing polymer actuator with controllable stiffness and ionic networking.

Bu çalışmada, proton değişim membranı olarak farklı kütlesel yüzdelerde (%1, %3 ve %5) TEOS katkılı SPEEK-PVA ve SPEEK-PVA-borik asit karışım membranları çözelti döküm yöntemiyle sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen membranlar FTIR, su tutma kapasitesi, şişme özelliği, boyut değişimi ve iyon değişim kapasitesi deneyleri ile karakterize edilmiştir.

This study describes the preparation, characterization and performance of carboxylated carbon nanotubes (c‐CNT) incorporated sulfonated poly ether ether ketone (SPEEK) membrane for nanofiltration application. Carboxylation was done to purify and to graft functional groups onto CNT walls.
