Torsion of spermatic cord

A series of 198 cases of acute unilateral, painful scrotal swelling considered to be torsion is presented and an aggressive surgical management of this entity described. The results achieved, a high incidence of testicular salvage, justify this aggressive approach.

Spermatic cord liposarcoma

The clinical and pathologic data in 3 cases of well-differentiated liposarcoma of the spermatic cord are presented. Radical orchiectomy appears to be adequate treatment. A regional lymph node dissection is usally not advocated since the pattern of spread is hematogenous.
