Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Branched Spherical CR structures on the complement of the figure eight knot
We obtain a branched spherical CR structure on the complement of the figure eight knot with a given holonomy representation (called rho_2). There are essentially two boundary unipotent representations from the complement of the figure eight knot into PU ...

Spherical indecomposable representations of Lie superalgebras
We present a classification of all spherical indecomposable representations of classical and exceptional Lie superalgebras. We also include information about stabilizers, symmetric algebras, and Borels for which sphericity is achieved. In one such computation, the symmetric algebra of the standard module of $\mathfrak{osp}(m|2n)$ is computed, which in ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Representations of rational Cherednik algebras
This paper surveys the representation theory of rational Cherednik algebras. We also discuss the representations of the spherical subalgebras. We describe in particular the results on category O.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Coupling different levels of resolution in molecular simulations
Simulation schemes that allow to change molecular representation in a subvolume of the simulation box while preserving the equilibrium with the surrounding introduce conceptual problems of thermodynamic consistency.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Cubic Spherical Neutrosophic Sets and Selection of Electric Truck Using Cosine Similarity Measure [PDF]
The concepts of cubic spherical neutrosophic sets (CSNSs), introduced and investigated by Gomathi et al. [5], offer a geometric representation of collection of neutrosophic sets (NSs), enhancing their ability to capture uncertainty.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
