Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

Spider Diagrams [PDF]

open access: yesLMS Journal of Computation and Mathematics, 2005
AbstractThe use of diagrams in mathematics has traditionally been restricted to guiding intuition and communication. With rare exceptions such as Peirce's alpha and beta systems, purely diagrammatic formal reasoning has not been in the mathematician's or logician's toolkit. This paper develops a purely diagrammatic reasoning system of “spider diagrams”

Artificial Compound Eye for Clear Vision in Harsh Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Artificial compound eye (CE) with exceptional imaging and motion tracking capturing the movement of a spider and swinging thread with a wide field of view. Surface modifications ensure clear vision of alphabetic letters in rain and fog. Images captured in fog with CE remains visible 3 times longer than simple eyes (SE).
