Optimization lubrication and speed in SPIF processes

open access: green, 2018

Investigation of Deformation Phenomena in SPIF Using an In-Process DIC Technique

open access: hybridKey Engineering Materials, 2009
Single point incremental forming (SPIF) is a promising new production technique in which a metal sheet is formed stepwise by a spherical tool. However, the technique still shows some particularities. It is observed that the final geometry of a SPIF part can deviate significantly from the programmed tool path.

Nano-Coating Loaded With Leaf and Flowers of Pelargonium graveolens Plant Extract Stabilized With Fenugreek Seed Gum and Soy Protein Isolate in Increasing the Shelf Life of Mutton Fillet. [PDF]

open access: yesFood Sci Nutr
In this paper, the extract of Pelargonium graveolens plant was obtained from flowers and leaves. Antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of extracts were evaluated in the in vitro conditions. The results confirm the higher antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of flower extract and these potentials can make the extract a good alternative to synthetic

Pharmacological activation of insulin‐degrading enzyme improves insulin secretion and glucose tolerance in diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 25, Issue 11, Page 3268-3278, November 2023., 2023
Abstract Aim To investigate the use of synthetic preimplantation factor (sPIF) as a potential therapeutic tool for improving glucose‐stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS), glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in the setting of diabetes. Materials and Methods We used a preclinical murine model of type 2 diabetes (T2D) induced by high‐fat diet (HFD ...

Effect of Ultrasonic Vibration on Forming Force in the Single‐Point Incremental Forming Process

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
Single‐point incremental forming (SPIF) has drawn much attention recently due to its flexibility in making parts for rapid prototypes and small samples. Several studies have pointed out the benefits of using ultrasonic vibration (UV) in SPIF experimentally.

Experimental performance of a multi‐storey braced frame structure with non‐structural industrial components subjected to synthetic ground motions

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, Volume 51, Issue 9, Page 2113-2136, 25 July 2022., 2022
Abstract The seismic risk assessment of industrial facilities mainly relies on historical data and the analysis and design of uncoupled secondary components. Accordingly, the dynamic interaction between primary structures and process equipment is overlooked.
