A new look at the Y tetraquarks and $$\Omega _c$$ Ωc baryons in the diquark model
We analyze the hidden charm P-wave tetraquarks in the diquark model, using an effective Hamiltonian incorporating the dominant spin–spin, spin–orbit and tensor interactions.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

The low-energy physics of silicene is described by Dirac electrons with a strong spin-orbit interaction and its band structure can be controlled by an external electric field Ez.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Resonant Networks of Spin–Orbit Coupling in Ellipsoid–Ellipsoid Binary Asteroid Systems
The dynamical evolution of binary asteroid systems is deeply influenced by spin–orbit resonances. However, their domains of influence and mutual interactions remain elusive, in particular in the space where multiple resonant modes coexist.

Hypothesis of a spin‐orbit resonance between the Earth and Venus's core [PDF]
The observation that the spin period of Venus is extremely close, although not equal, to the p = −5 spin‐orbit resonance with the Earth makes it very improbable that such a situation is fortuitous. This leads one to explore hypotheses in which the Earth spin‐orbit resonance plays some role in Venus's observed spin rate.

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Rashba effect may play an important role in the nonlinear optical properties of heterojunction quantum dots. In this work, we have theoretically examined the effects of Rashba spin-orbit interaction on an electron in a cylindrical core/shell quantum dot (

Advancing Age Modulates Associations Between Cognitive Impairment and Brain Volumes in Early MS
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), but manifestations following the first demyelinating event are relatively unexplored. We investigated cross‐sectional associations between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–derived brain volumes and the presence of cognitive impairment outcomes five years after the first ...

Climate modeling has shown that tidally influenced terrestrial exoplanets, particularly those orbiting M-dwarfs, have unique atmospheric dynamics and surface conditions that may enhance their likelihood to host viable habitats.
