Saturation of Spin-Polarized Current in Nanometer Scale Aluminum Grains
We describe measurements of spin-polarized tunnelling via discrete energy levels of single Aluminum grains. In high resistance samples ($\sim G\Omega$), the spin-polarized tunnelling current rapidly saturates as a function of the bias voltage.

Spin relaxation rates in quasi-one-dimensional coupled quantum dots [PDF]
We study theoretically the spin relaxation rate in quasi-one-dimensional coupled double semiconductor quantum dots. We consider InSb and GaAs-based systems in the presence of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction, which causes mixing of opposite-spin states,

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Spin Rate and Deflection Ratio of a Ping Pong Ball [PDF]
To investigate the effects of a spherical object’s spin rate on the curvature of its flight, Ping Pong balls, of varying spin rates, were hit horizontally and recorded from above with a high-speed camera.

Spin Freezing and Its Impact on Pore Size, Tortuosity and Solid State
Spin freeze-drying, as a part of a continuous freeze-drying technology, is associated with a much higher drying rate and a higher level of process control in comparison with batch freeze-drying.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Magnetic field and nuclear spin influence on the DNA synthesis rate
The rate of a chemical reaction can be sensitive to the isotope composition of the reactants, which provides also for the sensitivity of such “spin-sensitive” reactions to the external magnetic field.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Effect of modified periodic waveforms on current-induced spin polarization measurements
Applying a voltage to a semiconductor sample generates a current-induced electron spin polarization (CISP). Using an ultrafast mode-locked laser and lock-in detection scheme, we measure CISP on an indium gallium arsenide epilayer via Faraday rotation and
