The spin wave spectrum of HoZn (CsCl-structure) has been studied at 4.2 K. Two branches were followed along the principal symmetry directions. The data have been analysed following a Green’s functions formalism to obtain the Fourier transform of interactions.

Acoustic wave surfing: spin waves and spin pumping driven by elastic wave
Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, 2021Abstract In magnon spintronics it is fundamental that magnons can propagate over large distances to allow spin flux or information to be processed. Through micromagnetic simulations we investigate the spin-wave propagation driven by acoustic excitation in narrow Ni stripes, varying the level of coupling between spin and acoustic waves.

Spin waves in multiple-spin-density-wave systems
Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics, 1986The spin wave modes in an anisotropic Heisenberg model are investigated for a triple-spin-density-wave (TSDW) ground state in a FCC lattice. Explicit solutions are obtained in the diagonal-exchange regime in all directions. The solutions are also given in the (0,0, xi ) and ( xi , xi ,0) directions for the above model including non-diagonal exchange ...

Spin waves in itinerant multiple-spin-density-wave systems. II
Journal of Physics F: Metal Physics, 1987For pt.I see ibid., vol.17, no.5, p.1175 (1987). The spin wave energies and widths for linear- (LSDW) and multiple-spin-density-wave (MSDW) systems are calculated using the formalism developed in pt.I for an itinerant model. Calculations were made for the wave-vector q parallel and perpendicular to the magnetisation in the LSDW state; the velocities ...

Spin-wave/Carrier-wave interactions
IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1970The possibility of spin-wave/carrier-wave interactions has been considered with a more rigorous stability analysis than that used in previous studies. It is concluded that unstable bulk interactions in magnetic semiconductors will not be possible until resistivities are reduced to several orders of magnitude below those presently available.
