Lesion-induced generation of interneuron cell types in specific dorsoventral domains in the spinal cord of adult zebrafish [PDF]
In contrast to mammals, adult zebrafish regenerate neurons in the lesioned spinal cord. For example, motor neurons are generated from an olig2-expressing population of pMN-like ependymoradial glial cells in a ventrolateral position at the central canal ...

3D anatomical atlas of the heads of male and female adult Chamaeleo calyptratus
The veiled chameleon is a model organism in reptile development research. Utilizing contrast‐enhanced microCT and deep learning segmentation models, we have generated the first digital atlases of the skull, nervous system, cranial muscles and hyolingual muscles.

Background and aims: The cervical region is the most mobile portion of the spinal column and it is here that the earliest disc degenerations are encountered. Hence it is of great interest to neurologists and neurosurgeons.

Congenital narrowing of the spinal canal [PDF]
Further examples of congenital narrowing of the spinal canal in the lumbar and cervical regions are presented. It is implied that the condition is a nosological entity. Neurogenic intermittent claudication often accompanies the lumbar variety; the diagnosis in the cervical region is, however, radiological.

Abstract The upper carbonate concretion levels of the Romualdo Formation (Aptian, Brazil) have yielded several theropod dinosaur remains, including spinosaurids and the coelurosaurs Santanaraptor placidus and Mirischia asymmetrica, the phylogenetic affinities of which are controversial.

Developmental Lumbar Spinal Canal Stenosis and Severity of Radiculopathy
Background: The severity of radiculopathy is varied and may not concur with MRI findings. Large disc bulges may elicit fewer symptoms than smaller bulges. This was postulated to be due to the size of the canal.
