Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

Discovery of an Adaptive Neuroimmune Response Driving Itch and Fast Tick Removal with Implications for Preventing Pathogen Transmission

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Itch‐induced tick removal (IITR): An acquired neuroimmune mechanism, itch‐induced tick removal, develops after repeated tick exposure, mobilizing T cells and macrophages at the tick bite site to trigger a rapid scratching response that facilitates timely tick removal within a critical window that precedes the transmission of many tick‐borne pathogens ...

Morphometric Evaluation of Thoracolumbar Spinal Canal and Cord by Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Normal Small-Breed Dogs

open access: yesAnimals
Thoracolumbar intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is the most common cause of spinal injury in dogs. MRI has been considered the gold standard for neurologic diagnosis, but studies focusing on the thoracolumbar spinal canal and spinal cord using MRI in ...

Targeted H2S Delivery System Attenuates Blood‐Spinal Cord Barrier Disruption after Spinal Cord Injury by Reshaping the Ferritinophagy Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The αvβ3‐mediated SPRC@MPDA‐RGD targets broken endothelial cells and controllably releases SPRC. CSE is then activated to produce endogenous H2S, which inhibits ferritinophagy. In brief, H2S inhibits autophagy by activating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway, thereby suppressing the ferroptosis process mediated by NCOA4, and ultimately promoting the ...

PCMTD1-127aa suppresses osteosarcoma progression by competitively binding to USP10 to promote c-MYC degradation

open access: yesiScience
Summary: Osteosarcoma (OS) is a highly malignant tumor prone to distant metastasis and is associated with a poor prognosis. To date, therapeutic outcomes for this disease remain unsatisfactory.

A Dual‐Responsive Versatile Nanohybrid Orchestrating Tumor Elimination and Tumor‐Associated Osteolysis Restoration via Sequential Release

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The versatile CaO2@CuMOF@HAP nanohybrid demonstrates an outstanding MMP9/pH‐triggered release performance for sequential release of osteogenic growth peptide into deep‐seated tumor‐infiltrated bone destruction areas and dual ions into tumor cells, enabling efficient tumor‐associated osteolysis restoration and tumor elimination for more comprehensive ...
