Earth‐abundant metal‐ and non‐metal‐modified porous carbons offer a highly tunable platform for electrochemical CO2 reduction. This review shows how electronic interactions, active‐site coordination, pore architecture, and cooperative catalytic effects jointly govern intermediate stabilization, product selectivity, and device‐relevant CO2RR performance.

This study designs boron‐doped high‐entropy oxide nanosheets with crystalline‐amorphous interfaces. This tailored disorder promotes a lattice‐oxygen‐involved reaction pathway, significantly enhancing the oxygen evolution efficiency and chloride corrosion resistance during seawater electrolysis. It demonstrates a new design principle of using controlled

Aluminous spinels in lamproites : occurrence and probable significance
International audienceAluminous spinels are a common accessory mineral in peralkaline lamproites. They may be found as inclusions in leucite (Oscar plug, Australia) or in phlogopites (Leucite Hills, Wyoming; Murcia and Almeria provinces, Spain).

The deactivation of CrOx/Al2O3 by two stages under PDH is revealed via in situ TEM. Initially, CrOx particles disperse and transform into AlxCryO solid solutions that promote graphitic coke growth. Subsequently, the continuous migration of Cr results in the formation of Cr‐rich solid solutions that only partially revert under oxidative regeneration ...
