Electron-electron spin-spin interaction in spin-labeled low-spin methemoglobin

open access: yesBiophysical Journal, 1995
Nitroxyl free radical electron spin relaxation times for spin-labeled low-spin methemoglobins were measured between 6 and 120 K by two-pulse electron spin echo spectroscopy and by saturation recovery electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). Spin-lattice relaxation times for cyano-methemoglobin and imidazole-methemoglobin were measured between 8 and 25 K ...

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Spinning jets [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A fluid jet with a finite angular velocity is subject to centripetal forces in addition to surface tension forces. At fixed angular momentum, centripetal forces become large when the radius of the jet goes to zero.

Fast spinning strings on $ \eta $ deformed $ AdS_5 \times S^{5} $

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, considering the correspondence between spin chains and string sigma models, we explore the rotating string solutions over $ \eta $ deformed $ AdS_5 \times S^{5} $ in the so called fast spinning limit.

Kahler spinning particles [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
We construct the U(N) spinning particle theories, which describe particles moving on Kahler spaces. These particles have the same relation to the N=2 string as usual spinning particles have to the NSR string.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

The Early and Middle Bronze Age Textile Tools from the Aeolian Islands (Italy)

open access: yesFasciculi Archaeologiae Historicae, 2018
The Aeolian ceramic textile tools dated to the advanced Early and Middle Bronze Age (c. 1600-1250 BC) comprise the only evidence for textile manufacture and are a unique source of information about the technology of textile production used in the Early ...

Modelling the spinning dust emission from dense interstellar clouds

open access: yes, 2011
Electric dipole emission arising from PAHs is often invoked to explain the anomalous microwave emission (AME). This assignation is based on an observed tight correlation between the mid-IR emission of PAHs and the AME; and a good agreement between models

Spinning Dragging Strings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We use the AdS/CFT correspondence to compute the drag force experienced by a heavy quark moving through a maximally supersymmetric SU(N) super Yang-Mills plasma at nonzero temperature and R-charge chemical potential and at large 't Hooft coupling.
