Scheduling energy and spinning reserve based on linear chance constrained optimization for a wind integrated power system

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2022
In this paper, a new approach to dispatch reasonably energy and reserve in a day-ahead electricity market is presented. The spinning reserve can be offered and provided by both suppliers and consumers.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Optimal Day-ahead Scheduling of Islanded Microgrid Considering Risk-based Reserve Decision

open access: yesJournal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, 2021
Due to the lack of support from the main grid, the intermittency of renewable energy sources (RESs) and the fluctuation of load will derive uncertainties to the operation of islanded microgrids (IMGs).

Day-ahead allocation of operation reserve in composite power systems with large-scale centralized wind farms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper focuses on the day-ahead allocation of operation reserve considering wind power prediction error and network transmission constraints in a composite power system. A two-level model that solves the allocation problem is presented.

Frailty Exacerbates Disability in Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background To evaluate frailty in severe progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS) and to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Methods This prospective, cross‐sectional, multicenter study enrolled a late severe PMS group requiring skilled nursing (n = 53) and an age, sex, and disease duration‐matched control PMS group (n = 53).

Short‐term load and spinning reserve prediction based on LSTM and ANFIS with PSO algorithm

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering
With the increase in population and the growth of technology, the load demand has increased and major changes in spinning reserve are unavoidable. Short‐term forecasting to hourly predict the required load and spinning reserve is of great importance. All

Risk Reserve Constrained Economic Dispatch Model with Wind Power Penetration

open access: yesEnergies, 2010
This paper develops a modified economic dispatch (ED) optimization model with wind power penetration. Due to the uncertain nature of wind speed, both overestimation and underestimation of the available wind power are compensated using the up and down ...

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

Characterization of Clinical Phenotype to Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein Concentrations in Alexander Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To determine the concentration of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma in Alexander disease (AxD) and whether GFAP levels are predictive of disease phenotypes. Methods CSF and plasma were collected (longitudinally when available) from AxD participants and non‐AxD controls.
