Spin-5/2 fields in hadron physics
We show that the Lagrangian of the free spin-5/2 field in the spinor-tensor representation with the auxiliary spinor field depends on the three arbitrary parameters.

Born‐infeld electrodynamics: Clifford number and spinor representations [PDF]
The Clifford number formalism for Maxwell equations is considered. The Clifford imaginary unit for space‐time is introduced as coordinate independent form of fully antisymmetric fourth‐rank tensor. The representation of Maxwell equations in massless Dirac equation form is considered; we also consider two approaches to the invariance of Dirac equation ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Group theoretic approach to fermion production
We propose a universal group theoretic description of the fermion production through any type of interaction to scalar or pseudo-scalar. Our group theoretic approach relies on the group SU(2) × U(1), corresponding to the freedom in choosing ...

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Spinors can be expressed as Lie algebra of infinitesimal rotations. Spinors are also defined as elements of a vector space which carries a linear representation of the Clifford algebra typically.

Nanoelectronics. Spin transport in the NEGF method and quantum spin Hall effect by «bottom-up» approach [PDF]
Spin transport with the NEGF method in the spinor representation, in particular, spin valve, rotating magnetic contacts, spin precession and rotating spins, Zeeman and Rashba spin Hamiltonians, quantum spin Hall effect, calculation the spin potential ...

Twistor formulation of a massive particle with rigidity
A massive rigid particle model in (3+1) dimensions is reformulated in terms of twistors. Beginning with a first-order Lagrangian, we establish a twistor representation of the Lagrangian for a massive particle with rigidity.

Higher-loop amplitudes in the non-minimal pure spinor formalism
We analyze the properties of the non-minimal pure spinor formalism. We show that Siegel gauge on massless vertex operators implies the primary field constraint and the level-matching condition in closed string theory by reconstructing the integrated ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.
