Comprehensive profiling of cancer neoantigens from aberrant RNA splicing
Background Cancer neoantigens arise from protein-altering somatic mutations in tumor and rank among the most promising next-generation immuno-oncology agents when used in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Transposable Element–Driven PIEZO Mutation Enhances Locust Flight in Plateau Hypoxia
Why transposable elements (TEs) persisted or expanded in genomes remains a mystery. Using integrated analysis of TE macro‐ and microevolution in locusts, our results showed that thousands of TE insertions promoted widespread adaptive variation. Subfamilies of candidate adaptive TEs amplified and reshaped species‐level genomic architecture.

Pasta is a transcriptomic aging clock built on an age‐shift learning framework and trained on 17 000 samples across 21 datasets. It accurately predicts relative biological age across tissues, platforms, and species, captures stemness‐to‐senescence transitions, and identifies age‐modulatory perturbations.

Splice site recognition using transfer learning
In this work, we consider a transfer learning approach based on K-means for splice site recognition. We use different representations for the sequences, based on n-gram graphs.

Extended base pair complementarity between U1 snRNA and the 5? splice site does not inhibit splicing in higher eukaryotes, but rather increases 5? splice site recognition [PDF]
Spliceosome formation is initiated by the recognition of the 5′ splice site through formation of an RNA duplex between the 5′ splice site and U1 snRNA. We have previously shown that RNA duplex formation between U1 snRNA and the 5′ splice site can protect

Impact of U2-type introns on splice site prediction in A. thaliana species using deep learning
Background Splice site prediction in plant genomes poses substantial challenges that can be addressed using deep learning models. U2-type introns are especially useful for such studies given their ubiquity in plant genomes and the availability of rich ...

A previously unrecognized IRE1‐XBP1s‐Slc6a4 signaling axis links endoplasmic reticulum stress to serotonin metabolism, autophagy, and inflammatory osteoclastogenesis. By promoting intracellular serotonin uptake and reducing endogenous 3‐methyladenine accumulation, this pathway accelerates inflammatory bone destruction and provides a promising ...

Primary cultures of neuroblasts isolated from the nucleus basalis of Meynert of 12‐weeks‐old human foetuses were prepared. Whole‐cell patch‐clamp recordings were performed by injecting a depolarizing stimulus current (+500 pA; 500 ms), and the membrane voltage recorded; this stimulus current evoked periodic‐like oscillations in membrane voltage ...

Genetic ablation of Cep55 in Pten‐deficient mouse models delays tumorigenesis. Integrated multi‐omics analyses (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and spatial transcriptomics) reveal that CEP55 regulates oncogenic signaling (RAS/ERK, PI3K/AKT), integrin/FAK‐mediated adhesion, extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, and endocytosis.
