A new viscosity-type iteration for a finite family of split variational inclusion and fixed point problems between Hilbert and Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
In this paper, we introduce a new viscosity-type iteration process for approximating a common solution of a finite family of split variational inclusion problem and fixed point problem.

The effect of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions on the phase diagram and magnetic excitations of SrCu2(BO3)2

open access: yes, 2011
The orthogonal dimer structure in the SrCu2(BO3)2 spin-1/2 magnet provides a realization of the Shastry-Sutherland model. Using a dimer-product variational wave function, we map out the phase diagram of the Shastry-Sutherland model including anisotropies.

New iterative algorithms for solving split variational inclusions

open access: yesJournal of Global Optimization
In this paper we study a class of split variational inclusion (SVI) and regularized split variational inclusion (RSVI) problems in real Hilbert spaces. We discuss various analytical properties of the net generated by the RSVI and establish the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the RSVI.

Lagrangian reductive structures on gauge-natural bundles

open access: yes, 2008
A reductive structure is associated here with Lagrangian canonically defined conserved quantities on gauge-natural bundles. Parametrized transformations defined by the gauge-natural lift of infinitesimal principal automorphisms induce a variational ...

‘They Need to Hear You Say It’: Healthcare Professionals’ Perspectives on Barriers and Enablers to End‐of‐Life Discussions With Adolescents and Young Adults With Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT End‐of‐life conversations with adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer rarely occur without the guidance of healthcare professionals. As a part of the ‘Difficult Discussions’ study, focused on palliative care and advance care planning discussions with AYAs with cancer, we investigated the factors that healthcare professionals identify ...

Extragradient Algorithms for Solving Certain Nonlinear Problems with Application to Image Restorations

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we introduced an inertial extragradient algorithm to approximate the common solution of split fixed point, split variational inclusion and split equilibrium problems involving nonexpansive mappings and pseudomonotone Lipschitz-type ...

A Regularized Tseng Method for Solving Various Variational Inclusion Problems and Its Application to a Statistical Learning Model

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
We study three classes of variational inclusion problems in the framework of a real Hilbert space and propose a simple modification of Tseng’s forward-backward-forward splitting method for solving such problems.

Defining Roles in Pediatric Palliative Care: Perspectives From Oncology and Palliative Care Teams

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Early integration of pediatric palliative care (PPC) is associated with improved symptom management, quality of life, and healthcare utilization for children with cancer. Despite this, variation persists in how PPC is understood, operationalized, and integrated within pediatric oncology programs. In particular, ambiguity surrounding

The Hybrid Steepest Descent Method for Split Variational Inclusion and Constrained Convex Minimization Problems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We introduced an implicit and an explicit iteration method based on the hybrid steepest descent method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a constrained convex minimization problem and the set of solutions of a split variational ...

Generalized split null point of sum of monotone operators in Hilbert spaces

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2021
In this paper, we introduce a new type of a generalized split monotone variational inclusion (GSMVI) problem in the framework of real Hilbert spaces. By incorporating an inertial extrapolation method and an Halpern iterative technique, we establish a ...
