Games, Dollars, Splits: A Game-Theoretic Analysis of Split Manufacturing

IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, 2021
Split manufacturing has been proposed as a defense to prevent threats like intellectual property (IP) piracy and illegal overproduction of integrated circuits (ICs). Over the last few years, researchers have developed a plethora of attack and defense techniques, creating a cat-and-mouse game between defending designers and attacking foundries.

THE DOMINATION GAME ON SPLIT GRAPHS

Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2018
We investigate the domination game and the game domination number $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FE}_{g}$ in the class of split graphs. We prove that $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FE}_{g}(G)\leq n/2$ for any isolate-free $n$-vertex split graph $G$, thus strengthening the conjectured $3n/5$ general bound and supporting Rall’s $\lceil n/2\rceil$-conjecture.

The Relevance of Equal Splits in Ultimatum Games

Games and Economic Behavior, 2001
The authors investigate three mini ultimatum games, one similar to \textit{G. E. Bolton} and \textit{R. Zwick} [Games Econ. Behav. 10, 95-121 (1995; Zbl 0831.90137)] and two others in which equal split was replaced by nearly equal split, once slightly favoring the proposer and once slightly favoring the responder.

Split Screen - Split Mind: An Innovative Format for Narrative Reflexive, and Pedagogical Games

2023
Split screen is a cinematographic device in which the screen is divided into sub-sections representing different views. It is used only occasionally in films and narrative games, as it may be confusing and disrupts immersion. In this article, we propose to use split screen for learning purposes, and describe a fully implemented serious game based on ...

Designing to Split Attention in a Mixed Reality Game

Proceedings of the 2015 Annual Symposium on Computer-Human Interaction in Play, 2015
We design and study a mixed reality game, PhotoNav, to investigate wearable computing display modalities in which players need to split attention. PhotoNav requires that the player split attention between the physical world and display by using geotagged photographs as hints for navigation.

Split-Second Trustworthiness Detection From Faces in an Economic Game

Experimental Psychology, 2017
Abstract. Economic interactions often imply to gauge the trustworthiness of others. Recent studies showed that when making trust decisions in economic games, people have some accuracy in detecting trustworthiness from the facial features of unknown partners.

Split equilibrium problems for related games and applications to economic theory

Optimization, 2018
In this paper we introduce the concept of split Nash equilibrium problems associated with two related noncooperative strategic games. Then we apply the Fan–KKM theorem to prove the existence of solutions to split Nash equilibrium problems of related noncooperative strategic games, in which the strategy sets of the players are nonempty closed and ...
