Quantifying Structure‐Dependent Rigidity of 3D DNA Origami Boxes

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
We investigate the mechanical stability of a hollow 3D DNA origami box during assembly using liquid AFM imaging and finite element simulations. As structural completeness increases from flat sheets through intermediate assemblies to a closed box, rigidity improves.

The expression of VEGF-A is down regulated in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2011
BackgroundMost patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) eventually enter a secondary progressive (SPMS) phase, characterized by increasing neurological disability.

North American Delphi Consensus Study on Sinonasal Malignancy Survivorship Care

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survival for patients with sinonasal cancers has improved over the past decades, but there are no dedicated survivorship guidelines for this cohort. Objective To understand experts’ priorities and perspectives on key survivorship tenets (surveillance, second tumor screening, toxicity, and symptom management).

Accelerated Brain Atrophy in Epilepsy: A Prospective Population‐Based Study

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Previous longitudinal neuroimaging studies suggest that epilepsy is a progressive disorder. To date, these findings have relied largely on populations from tertiary centers, resulting in ascertainment bias, as severely affected individuals are more likely to be rescanned.

Association Between Genetic Ancestry and Multiple Sclerosis Severity

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective The objective of this study was to determine whether genetic ancestry is associated with differences in the clinical course of multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods Participants with MS living in the United Kingdom >18 years old were recruited from 2021 to 2025 and genotyped from saliva using a commercial array. Genetic ancestry was inferred using

Re-emergence of T lymphocyte-mediated synaptopathy in progressive multiple sclerosis

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
BackgroundSecondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS) is defined by the irreversible accumulation of disability following a relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) course. Despite treatments advances, a reliable tool able to capture the transition from RRMS to

Ein portalpräorganisiertes Cucurbit[7]uril‐Ruthenium‐Konjugat ermöglicht motivselektive Proteindetektion

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
