The Histopathology of Spondyloarthropathy
Current Molecular Medicine, 2004An extensive histopathological analysis of diseased tissues and organs is a crucial step in our understanding of how specific molecular and cellular events described in vitro or in animal models might by relevant to the clinical presentation of a specific disease in humans.

The seronegative spondyloarthropathies
Seminars in Roentgenology, 1996The four seronegative spondyloarthropathies can be divided into two main groups by their pattern of sacroiliitis and spondylitis (Table 1). The axial skeletal changes of ankylosing spondylitis and enteropathic arthropathy are often indistinguishable, as are those of psoriatic arthritis and Reiter's syndrome.

Radiologic Clinics of North America, 1987
This paper reviews the radiologic features of disorders involving the spine and sacroiliac joints. Analysis is divided into conditions involving the sacroiliac joints, disorders producing bony bridging in the spine, and disorders producing focal vertebral destruction.

Management of spondyloarthropathies
Current Opinion in Rheumatology, 1996Better understanding of the etiopathogenic mechanisms and increasing recognition of the natural course of the spondyloarthropathies are leading to a more rational therapeutic approach to several of the disorders included within this large group of arthritides.

Juvenile spondyloarthropathies
Current Opinion in Rheumatology, 2000This paper reviews the recent literature on the juvenile spondyloarthropathies. Several case reports emphasized clinical characteristics of the spondyloarthropathies including reactive arthritis. MR imaging seemed to enhance the detection of sacroiliitis in children with spondyloarthropathies.

Biomarkers in Spondyloarthropathies
2009The study of biomarkers in spondyloarthropathy (SpA) has emerged to be a very important field of research. This is particularly because the two commonly used biomarkers, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP), are of very low sensitivity and specificity.

SERONEGATIVE SPONDYLOARTHROPATHIES
Radiologic Clinics of North America, 1996The seronegative spondylarthropathies are a group of multisystem inflammatory disorders that share a variety of clinical, radiologic, and genetic features. They include ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, Reiter's disease, and arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel disease. This article reviews these multisystem inflammatory disorders.

Spondyloarthropathies (SpA) are a group of common inflammatory rheumatic disorders characterised by axial and or peripheral arthritis, associated with enthesitis, dactylitis and potential extra-articular manifestations such as uveitis and skin rash. The diseases, which comprise the group, share a common genetic predisposition, the HLA-B27 gene; however,

Imaging in spondyloarthropathies
Current Rheumatology Reports, 2004Seronegative spondyloarthropathies comprise a group of inflammatory arthritides, which consists of ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis (Reiter's syndrome), enteropathic arthritis, and undifferentiated spondyloarthropathy. All of them share common laboratory, clinical, and imaging findings, with characteristic involvement of ...
