Synergistic Effect of Co‐Pyrolysis of Biomass and Disposable Face Mask Waste on Energy Efficiency: Experimental Modeling for Energetic Characteristics

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 18, Issue 4, April 2026.
The viability of co‐pyrolysis as a sustainable approach to simultaneously manage agricultural residues and COVID‐19‐related plastic waste, producing energy‐dense fuels and contributing to circular economy goals. The biomass and plastic blend exhibited favorable energetic characteristics with lower ΔG at higher temperatures.

Species and temperature measurement in H2/O2 rocket flow fields by means of Raman scattering diagnostics [PDF]

open access: yes
Validation of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes developed for prediction and evaluation of rocket performance is hampered by a lack of experimental data. Non-intrusive laser based diagnostics are needed to provide spatially and temporally resolved

Autoignition characteristics of no. 2 diesel fuel [PDF]

open access: yes
Parametric tests to map the ignition delay characteristics were conducted at pressures of 3, 4, and 5 atm, inlet air temperatures up to 1150 K and fuel air equivalence ratios ranging from 0.2 to 1.0. Ignition delay times in the range of 6 msec to 60 msec
