BMS supertranslation symmetry implies Faddeev-Kulish amplitudes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We show explicitly that, among the scattering amplitudes constructed from eigenstates of the BMS supertranslation charge, the ones that conserve this charge, are equal to those constructed from Faddeev-Kulish states. Thus, Faddeev-Kulish states naturally

Modified spontaneous symmetry breaking pattern by brane-bulk interaction terms

open access: yes, 2007
We show how translational invariance can be broken by the vacuum that drives the spontaneous symmetry breaking of extra-dimensional extensions of the Standard Model, when delta-like interactions between brane and bulk scalar fields are present.

Advanced Air Electrodes for Reversible Protonic Ceramic Electrochemical Cells: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cells (R‐PCECs) face challenges from sluggish and unstable oxygen reduction and evolution reactions in the air electrode. This review discusses recent progress in triple‐conducting air electrodes, emphasizing mechanisms, performance factors, and design strategies, offering guidance for creating efficient and ...

Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Linear stability analysis of chemical mechanism, Listanalchem: A tool for the search of spontaneous mirror symmetry breaking

open access: yesMethodsX, 2023
Homochirality, the phenomenon by which one of two virtually identical (non-superimposable mirror images) compounds is favored over the other in the chemistry of life, has been regarded as a requisite for the emergence of all living things on earth ...

Interacting topological phases in thin films of topological mirror Kondo insulators

open access: yes, 2016
We study the interaction effects on thin films of topological mirror Kondo insulators (TMKI), where the strong interaction is expected to play an important role.

Inorganic Dielectric Materials Coupling Micro‐/Nanoarchitectures for State‐of‐the‐Art Biomechanical‐to‐Electrical Energy Conversion Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Biomechanical‐to‐electrical energy conversion devices are uniquely suited for self‐driven physiological information monitoring and powering human–computer interaction systems. These devices based on micro‐/nanoarchitectured inorganic dielectric materials (MNIDMs) have shown ultrahigh electromechanical performance and thus great potential for practical ...

Non-conformal entanglement entropy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We explore the behaviour of renormalized entanglement entropy in a variety of holographic models: non-conformal branes; the Witten model for QCD; UV conformal RG flows driven by explicit and spontaneous symmetry breaking and Schrödinger geometries ...

Electric‐Field‐Driven Reversal of Ferromagnetism in (110)‐Oriented, Single Phase, Multiferroic Co‐Substituted BiFeO3 Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Electric‐field‐induced magnetization reversal is a long‐sought‐after achievement in materials engineering for use in next‐generation, ultra‐low power consumption memory devices. This work demonstrates fully electric‐field‐driven switching of the out‐of‐plane component of magnetization in (110)‐oriented Co‐substituted BiFeO3 thin films at room ...
