A new characterization of sporadic simple groups

Let \(G\) be a finite group. The prime graph of \(G\) is defined as follows: the vertices are all primes dividing the order of \(G\), and two vertices \(p\), \(q\) are joined by an edge if and only if \(G\) contains an element of order \(pq\). The prime graph components of all finite simple groups were classified by \textit{J. S. Williams} [J.
