On the orbit of the short-period exoplanet WASP-19b

open access: yes, 2011
WASP-19b has the shortest orbital period of any known exoplanet, orbiting at only 1.2 times the Roche tidal radius. By observing the Rossiter-McLaughlin effect we show that WASP-19b's orbit is aligned, with lambda = 4.6 +/- 5.2 degrees.

2MASS J05162881+2607387: A New Low-Mass Double-Lined Eclipsing Binary

open access: yes, 2006
We show that the star known as 2MASS J05162881+2607387 (hereafter J0516) is a double-lined eclipsing binary with nearly identical low-mass components. The spectroscopic elements derived from 18 spectra obtained with the High Resolution Spectrograph on ...

Effects of different protein levels on growth performance and body composition of spotted scat, Scatophagus argus

open access: yesFisheries and Aquatic Sciences
A 60-day experiment was undertaken in circle plastic tanks with a volume of 0.2 m3 using a separate circulating filtration system at 400 L/h to determine the optimal dietary protein level for the growth performance, protein efficiency rate (PER), and ...
