Determination of Nutritional and Biochemical Composition of Selected Pleurotus spps.
The global demand for good quality food is going to be increased gradually. Mushrooms are broadly used as healthy nutritious meals. The nutritional values of extracts from four distinct Pleurotus species—Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus sajor-caju ...

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...

Single-pigtail plastic stent made from endoscopic nasobiliary drainage tubes in endoscopic ultrasound-guided gallbladder drainage: a retrospective case series [PDF]
Technical failure of endoscopic ultrasound-guided gallbladder drainage (EUS-GBD) is often attributed to device failure. To rectify this problem, we developed a single-pigtail plastic stent (SPPS) for EUS-GBD. We retrospectively reviewed the cases of four

Streamlining the manufacturing of biotherapeutics : SPPS vs. Recombinant protein production
In this paper we have researched two methods for peptide synthesis; solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and recombinant protein production, hereafter called recombinant production.

Heat Resistance in Liquids of Enterococcus spp., Listeria spp., Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella spp. and Campylobacterspp [PDF]
The aim of the work was to collect, evaluate, summarize and compare heat resistance data reported for Campylobacter, Enterococcus, Escherichia, Listeria, Salmonella and Yersinia spp. The work was limited to resistance in liquids with pH values 6-8. Results obtained under similar experimental conditions were sought.

Study of Characteristics of Vortex Beam Produced by Fabricated Spiral Phase Plates
We have recently shown that spiral phase plates (SPPs) with continuous surface can be fabricated with one time exposing process only [35]. Four categories of SPPs with different topological charges at wavelength of 532 nm were prepared, and the ...
