Assessment of spraying characteristics of two nasal sprays containing framycetin
Voprosy praktičeskoj pediatrii, 2022Objective. To compare spraying characteristics of two nasal sprays containing framycetin – Isofra and Tramicent Materials and methods. We used a silicone model of the nasal cavity (Koken Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan) to assess dose distribution of the drug inside the nose.

Investigation on Methanol Spray Characteristics
Energy & Fuels, 2007The effects of opening pressure, ambient density, and nozzle diameter on penetration length and cone angle of methanol sprays were investigated. The methanol sprays schlieren photographs were recorded by a high-speed charge coupled device (CCD) camera. The methanol spray characteristics were analyzed.

Characteristics of a pulse in detonation spraying
Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics, 19761. Methods have been developed for measuring the temperature and velocity of the gas stream in detonation spraying. 2. The time dependence of these parameters has been determined for the process of detonation spraying with an acetylene-oxygen mixture. 3.

Characteristics of a liquefied butane spray
KSME International Journal, 1998The characteristics of a butane spray from pintle-type injector were studied by droplet velocity and diameter measurements and high speed photography. The accumulator type injector operated off a common rail fuel supply system operated at 13 MPa, and was controlled by a high-speed solenoid valve.

The spray characteristics of unrefined biodiesel
Renewable Energy, 2012The spray characteristics of a blended fuel containing conventional diesel fuel and unrefined biodiesel fuel were investigated. Experiments were performed to analyze the effects that blending ratio and injection pressure have on the spray behavior. The process of spray injection was analyzed through a laser diffraction particle analyzer (LDPA).

Modeling the Spray Characteristics of Biodiesel
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015Biodiesel is considered as one most of the promising alternate fuels for the diesel engines without any major engine modifications due to its similar properties that of diesel. However, it is imperative to study the fuel spray behavior and its effective distribution inside the engine which affect combustion and emission characteristics.

External Characteristics of Unsteady Spray Atomization from a Nasal Spray Device
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2013The nasal route presents an enormous opportunity to exploit the highly vascularized respiratory airway for systemic drug delivery to provide more rapid onset of therapy and reduced drug degradation compared with conventional oral routes. The dynamics of atomization at low injection pressure is less known as typical spray atomization studies have ...

Influence of Elevated Injector Temperature on the Spray Characteristics of GDI Sprays
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2019<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">When fuel at elevated temperatures is injected into an ambient environment at a pressure lower than the saturation pressure of the fuel, the fuel vaporizes in the nozzle and/or immediately upon exiting the nozzle; that is, it undergoes flash boiling.

Spray Characteristics of Rotary Atomizers
1983Evaluations of the spray characteristics of a new atomizer (Micromax) indicate that rotary atomizers used on tractor-mounted sprayers have the potential to apply agricultural pesticides effectively. Operating the units at the spacing, height, and tilt angle that provides double to triple overlap of the spray output results in acceptable distribution ...
