Spray coverage and deposits from a remotely piloted aerial application system using various nozzle types [PDF]
Remotely piloted aerial application systems (RPAAS) are exponentially increasing globally for pesticide applications. Evaluations of spray coverage, deposits, and droplet size, when implementing various application parameters, are needed to optimize ...

Leaves coverage of spray liquid and influence on herbicide efficacy
The effect of spray liquid leaves coverage on efficacy of herbicides was investigated. Five nozzles sizes were used to reach different percentage coverage. The effect of leaves coverage on Elytrigia repens (L.) Desv. was evaluated using systemic herbicide (clethodim 240 g / l + surfactant) and the effect of leaves coverage on Chenopodium album L.

Use of spray target cards and leaf analysis to measure spray coverage
This report evaluates a method used to determine the uniformity of spray coverage in a pear fireblight control experiment in 1972. Trees used for the experiment were mature 14-year-olds in a hedgerow planting at 11 hy 22 ft spacing.

Performance of Drift-Reducing Nozzles in Controlling Small Weed Seedlings with Contact Herbicides
In many EU countries, spray applications should comply with increasingly stringent requirements regarding the drift reduction class of spray nozzles. Many farmers fear that the use of drift-reducing nozzles producing coarse droplet spectra may compromise
