A method of aerosol spray laryngography has been devised in which the topical anesthetic material and a barium-methylcellulose contrast material are introduced to coat the pharynx and larynx via an atomizer (DeVilbiss) and a source of increased air pressure. The technique is simple to perform and readily tolerated by the patient.
