Performance and physics measurements at protoDUNE-SP [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of The European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics — PoS(EPS-HEP2017), 2018
The protoDUNE Single Phase (protoDUNE-SP) TPC is a prototype for the DUNE far detector and it is currently under construction at CERN. It will not only serve as a test-bed for the engineering design and construction techniques but will also provide a set of key measurements for the future DUNE far detector.

Open Charm measurements at the NA61 experiment at CERN SPS [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
The strong interactions programme of the NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS has been extended through the use of new silicon Vertex Detector which provides precise measurements of exotic particles with short lifetime. The detector was designed to meet the challenges of primary and secondary vertexes reconstruction at high spatial resolution.

Re-visiting the six-item Stanford presenteeism scale (SPS-6) and its psychometric properties

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2023
Presenteeism has often been considered as the correlate of absenteeism and associated to productivity loss. This study sought to re-examine the psychometric properties of the 6-item Stanford Presenteeism Scale (SPS-6), a popular measure which has been ...

Sensory processing sensitivity and its relation to sensation seeking

open access: yesCurrent Research in Behavioral Sciences, 2023
Sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) is a trait associated with enhanced responsivity to environmental stimuli and the tendency to pause before acting. However, qualitative data suggest that some who are high in SPS may also be high in sensation seeking (

The syntactic positive shift (sps) as an erp measure of syntactic processing [PDF]

open access: yesLanguage and Cognitive Processes, 1993
Abstract This paper presents event-related brain potential (ERP) data from an experiment on syntactic processing. Subjects read individual sentences containing one of three different kinds of violations of the syntactic constraints of Dutch. The ERP results provide evidence for M electrophysiological response to syntactic processing that is ...
