Pattern‐Aware Intelligence Enables Nondestructive, Rapid Quantification of High‐Aspect‐Ratio Silicon Etching

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pattern‐dependent etching is converted into a physical prior for intelligent reconstruction of high‐aspect‐ratio silicon structures. Combining YOLO‐Pose feature extraction with a topography network, the framework retrieves depth, sidewall angle, and scallop texture from minimal destructive observations, enabling accurate cross‐scale metrology and near ...

VlPAG/DRN Microglia Drive Neuropathic Pain‐Induced Depression via a Defined Neuroimmune Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Peripheral nerve injury (SNI) induces neuropathic pain, activates midbrain microglia, and triggers an NLRP3–IL‐1β–dependent inflammatory cascade. IL‐1β signals through IL‐1R1 on vlPAG/DRN VGLUT2+ neurons (vlPAG/DRNGlu), inducing hyperexcitability and driving the vlPAG/DRNGlu→BNSTGABA circuit to produce the affective component of neuropathic pain ...

EVALUATION OF THE UTILITY OF THE ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT RETURN TO SPORT AFTER INJURY (ACL-RSI) SCALE WITHIN PEDIATRIC ATHLETES

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2019
Background: The incidence of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and surgical reconstruction in youth athletes is increasing. In the United States, most athletes elect to undergo ACL reconstruction (ACLR), with the goal of returning to their previous

Multipathway modulation of neuroinflammation and oxidative stress by hesperidin in a rat single prolonged stress model of post‐traumatic stress disorder

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Single prolonged stress (SPS) induces post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)‐like neuropathology characterized by oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, astrocytic reactivity, neuronal damage, and reduced neurotrophic support in the hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex. Hesperidin counteracts these effects by attenuating lipid peroxidation and pro‐

The diagnostic value of the circadian rhythm gene KLF10 in anxiety‐depressive disorders and its neuroimmune regulatory mechanisms

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This graphical abstract illustrates the protective role and molecular mechanism of the circadian rhythm‐related gene KLF10, identified as a diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target in anxiety‐depressive disorder. Model establishment and phenotypes: An anxiety‐depression model was successfully established by chronic restraint stress combined with ...

LESS THAN HALF OF YOUTH ATHLETES CAN ACHIEVE 90% LIMB SYMMETRY ON A BATTERY OF SINGLE LEG HOP TESTS

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2019
Background: The incidence of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) in youth athletes is rising. Current rehabilitation guidelines recommend the use of a battery of single leg hop tests (SLHT) to assess performance and assist in return to sport

2D Fermionic SPT with CRT symmetry

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2023
An invariant of SPT-phases with on-site finite group G symmetry for two-dimensional Fermion systems is derived in the work of Ogata [Commun. Math. Phys. 395(1), 405–457 (2022)]. This invariant is doubled compared to the conjectured one from the invertible quantum field theory.

Fun‐sized library prep: Miniaturization is a valid method for per‐sample cost reduction in targeted sequencing of angiosperm DNA

open access: yesApplications in Plant Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Genomic analysis of population structure is important for understanding plant genetic diversity among and within populations. A limitation to the broader application of genetics in conservation and related fields is the cost of obtaining large datasets.

Hip Arthroscopy in Adults Aged 40 or Older Produces Clinically Meaningful Symptom Improvement but Carries a Substantial Risk of Conversion to Total Hip Arthroplasty: A Systematic Review

open access: yesArthroscopy, EarlyView.
Purpose To report conversion rates to total hip arthroplasty (THA), patient‐reported outcome measures, and complication rates in adults aged ≥ 40 years undergoing hip arthroscopy since 2016. Methods MEDLINE, EMBASE, and PubMed were searched from January 2016 to March 2025, and pertinent data were abstracted from eligible studies according to the ...
