Solar PV-BES in distribution system with novel technique for DC voltage regulation
The incremental penetration of solar photovoltaic (SPV) is creating voltage related issues in the distribution system. The problem gets complicated during the peak load demand and peak generation from SPV.

In-House Counsel’s Role in the Structuring of Mortgage-Backed Securities [PDF]
The authors introduce the financial crisis and the role played by mortgage-backed securities. Then describe the controversy at issue: whether, in order to own and enforce the mortgage loans backing those securities, a special-purpose vehicle “purchasing”

The general strategy for constructing proton–electron dual‐transport‐channel photocatalysts (hollow Co3S4/Sv‐chalcogenide/Ti3C2 nanoreactors) is developed. Theses ternary‐component nanoreactors feature dynamic hydrogen‐bonding nanonetworks as proton‐transport channels and asymmetric dual‐interface BIEFs as electron‐transport channels, serving as a ...

Ag Nanowire‐Integrated MoS2/ZnO Heterojunctions for Highly Efficient Photogenerated Charge Transfer
A versatile strategy is reported for fabricating multi‐dimensional heterojunctions with significantly improved charge transfer capability. By integrating Ag nanowires with a MoS2/ZnO heterojunction, a fourfold increase in surface photovoltage is achieved, reaching 200 mV under visible light illumination.

Tracking surface photovoltage dipole geometry in bi2se3 with time-resolved photoemission [PDF]
Topological insulators have been shown to exhibit strong and long-lived surface photovoltages when excited by an infrared pump. The ability to generate long-lived potentials on these surfaces provides opportunities to manipulate the spin-momentum locked ...

ABSTRACT Aim To examine the significance of portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) as a prognostic factor for patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) treated with chemoradiotherapy (CRT) followed by surgery. Methods The study retrospectively examined 313 patients with borderline resectable (BR) or locally advanced (LA) PDAC who underwent CRT ...
