L’(in)action publique face aux squats discrets à Paris et à Madrid

open access: yesMétropoles, 2014
Squats in Europe have been largely documented by the social science literature. However, researchers usually focus on social centers and have put aside «invisible» squats which are not necessarily open forms of protest and resistance: ie.

Postactivation potentiation effect of two lower body resistance exercises on repeated jump performance measures

open access: yesBiology of Sport, 2020
This study examined the postactivation potentiation effects of combining squat and deadlift exercises on subsequent repeated jump performance. Fifteen, resistance-trained youth wrestlers were randomly allocated to either undertake back squats (BSq ...

Hierarchical Summary Statistics Encoding Across Primary Visual and Posterior Parietal Cortices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that mouse V1 simultaneously encodes the ensemble mean and variance of motion, providing a robust summary‐statistic representation that persists despite single‐neuron variability. These signals propagate to PPC, where they are transformed into abstract category representations during decision making.

A nonlinear macroelement formulation for the seismic analysis of masonry buildings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A macroelement is presented for the nonlinear dynamic analysis of masonry structures under seismic actions. The macroelement, developed in the framework of the equivalent frame model, has a force-based formulation and accounts for flexural and shear ...

Systematic Benchmarking of a Noise‐Tolerant Conductive Hydrogel Electrode for Epidermal Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
General schematic of the approach. Abstract Conventional Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes remain the clinical standard for electrophysiological monitoring but are hindered by poor skin conformity, mechanical rigidity, and signal degradation, particularly under motion or sweat.

Analysis of Local Track Discontinuities and Defects in Railway Switches Based on Track-Side Accelerations

open access: yesSensors
Switches are an essential, safety-critical part of the railway infrastructure. Compared to open tracks, their complex geometry leads to increased dynamic loading on the track superstructure from passing trains, resulting in high maintenance costs.

An Open‐Source Pipeline for Calcium Imaging and All‐Optical Physiology in Human Stem Cell‐Derived Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces an open‐source all‐optical platform for functional phenotyping of human stem cell‐derived neurons. The system integrates optogenetics, calcium imaging, automated acquisition, and analysis to resolve single‐cell and network activity, enabling longitudinal measurements, disease modeling, and pharmacological screening in preclinical ...
