Measurement of Stokes-operator squeezing for continuous-variable orbital angular momentum

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
We demonstrate experimentally a measurement scheme for the Stokes operators for the continuous-variable squeezed states of orbital angular momentum (OAM).

Exponential and Laguerre Squeezed States for su(1,1) Algebra and Calogero-Sutherland Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
A class of squeezed states for the su(1,1) algebra is found and expressed by the exponential and Laguerre-polynomial operators acting on the vacuum states.

Control of squeezed states

open access: yesProceedings of the 2000 American Control Conference. ACC (IEEE Cat. No.00CH36334), 2000
In this paper we consider the classical and quantum control of squeezed states of harmonic oscillators. This provides a method for reducing noise below the quantum limit and provides an example of the control of under-actuated systems in the stochastic and quantum context.

Maximum Entanglement in Squeezed Boson and Fermion States

open access: yes, 2007
A class of squeezed boson and fermion states is studied with particular emphasis on the nature of entanglement. We first investigate the case of bosons, considering two-mode squeezed states.

Generalized squeezed states [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters A, 2018
Squeezed states are one of the most useful quantum optical models having various applications in different areas, especially in quantum information processing. Generalized squeezed states are even more interesting since, sometimes, they provide additional degrees of freedom in the system.

Phonon Squeezed States Generated by Second Order Raman Scattering

open access: yes, 1997
We study squeezed states of phonons, which allow a reduction in the quantum fluctuations of the atomic displacements to below the zero-point quantum noise level of coherent phonon states.

Protecting steered coherence in squeezed generalized amplitude damping channel with memory

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
We investigate the average steered coherence (ASC) and maximal steered coherence (MSC) of two qubits in a squeezed generalized amplitude damping channel modeled by a squeezed thermal bath with dissipation and memory. By considering the input Bell states,

Displacement-enhanced continuous-variable entanglement concentration

open access: yes, 2012
We study entanglement concentration of continuous variable Gaussian states by local photon subtractions enhanced by coherent displacements. Instead of the previously considered symmetric two-mode squeezed vacuum states, we investigate the protocol for ...

Higher-Power Coherent and Squeezed States [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A closed form expression for the higher-power coherent states (eigenstates of $a^{j}$) is given. The cases j=3,4 are discussed in detail, including the time-evolution of the probability densities.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
