We present evidence for hole injection into LaAlO3/LaVO3/LaAlO3 quantum wells near a polar surface of LaAlO3 (001). As the surface is brought in proximity to the LaVO3 layer, an exponential drop in resistance and a decreasing positive Seebeck coefficient

The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Strong Influence of the diffuse component on the lattice dynamics in Pb(Mg$_{1/3}$Nb$_{2/3}$)O$_{3}$
The temperature and zone dependence of the lattice dynamics in Pb(Mg$_{1/3}$Nb$_{2/3}$)O$_{3}$ is characterized using neutron inelastic scattering. A strong correlation between the diffuse and phonon scattering is measured.
