Boosting Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Capacitors with Mesoporous Carbon Derived from Highly Graphitized Carbon Quantum Dots

The work presents an innovative method for the preparation of mesoporous carbon materials (MCs) from highly graphitized carbon quantum dots. Optimally Carbonized Mangrove Wood–Derived Hard Carbon with a Soft Carbon Coating for High‐Performance Sodium‐Ion Battery Anodes

ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
High‐performance SIB anodes are developed using mangrove wood–derived hard carbon, optimized through controlled carbonization temperatures and pitch‐derived soft carbon coatings. The resulting PC‐10 composite achieves a superior reversible capacity of 297.5 mAh g−1 and an 82% ICE by suppressing irreversible reactions and enhancing interfacial stability
