Strong subadditivity and the covariant holographic entanglement entropy formula
Headrick and Takayanagi showed that the Ryu-Takayanagi holographic entanglement entropy formula generally obeys the strong subadditivity (SSA) inequality, a fundamental property of entropy.

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

Single Transverse-Spin Asymmetry in Large $P_T$ Open Charm Production at an Electron-Ion Collider
We discuss the single transverse-spin asymmetry (SSA) to be observed in the $D$-meson production with large transverse-momentum in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering, $e p^\uparrow \rightarrow e D X$.

Cellulose‐Nanofiber‐Based Layered Sub‐Terahertz Absorbing Sheets for B5G/6G Applications
We report a sub‐terahertz absorber made of biodegradable cellulose‐nanofiber (CNF), potentially useful for B5G/6G devices to achieve electromagnetic compatibility in an eco‐friendly way. The absorber is 120 µm thick and consists of two carbon‐nanotube‐dispersed CNF layers and one pure CNF layer.

Using two‐photon polymerization of SU‐8 together with mold processing allowed the creation of defect‐free, flexible 3D microfluidic structures with sub‐micrometer precision in CYTOP. The fabricated CYTOP microfluidic chips enabled super‐resolution imaging of cancer cells in the microchannels, clearly visualizing previously undetectable fine structural ...

Is using abortion to select the sex of children ever permissible? [PDF]
The revelation that some clinicians in Britain have agreed to undertake Sex- Selective Abortions (SSAs) has brought several ethical issues to the fore. Two philosophers analyse the complex arguments surrounding this banned practice, from differing points

A Linearly Deformable Pneumatic Scalable Microgripper for Universal Mid‐Air Micromanipulation
This work presents a fully 3D printed soft microgripper capable of active adhesion control through a pneumatic system. Its modular design can reach a high adhesion switching ratio of 373 and free release of micro‐objects at 100 μm$\umu \rm {m}$ dimension.

After virtually disappearing from domestic dwellings in the Western world at the end of the Second World War, bed bugs have re-emerged in recent years. Few studies, however, have been carried out on these insects in tropical islands.
