SSR MARKERS ANALYSIS OF THE SARDINIAN GRAPE GERMPLASM

Acta Horticulturae, 2011
Sardinia has an ancient history as a secondary grape domestication centre, having developed a wide variety of different Vitis cultivars that lasts nowadays. Our work focused on giving a molecular basis of identification, through SSR, over this large genetic pool as a conservation strategy to manage field collection at local level.

EST-SSR Markers fromHeteroderaglycinesIchinohe

Генетика, 2014
The soybean cyst nematode Heterodera glycines Ichinohe is a severe agricultural pest for which genetic resources are limited. In this study, 295 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) were identified from 259 expressed sequenced tags (ESTs), Which were selected from 9,443 unigenes. The successful primer pairs were designed against six regions.

Assessment of the genetic diversity and population structure of rice genotypes using SSR markers

Acta Agriculturae Scandinavica - Section B, 2019
Genetic diversity is a pre-requisite for rice (Oryza sativa L.) breeding and population development. Hence, the objective of this study was to assess the genetic diversity and population structure of 54 rice accessions using 14 polymorphic simple ...

Sex-linked SSR markers in hemp

Plant Breeding, 2005
Hemp is a dioecious plant with sex chromosomes X and Y, the male sex being heterogametic. The quality of the fibre depends on the sex type. The sex chromosomes can be characterized by molecular markers. In this report, sex-linked simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers are described.
