THE MCL-1 INHIBITOR AZD5991 DISPLAYS A PROMISING TARGETED THERAPY FOR ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA

open access: yesHematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy, 2021
Aims: MCL-1 protein is an anti-apoptotic member of BCL-2 protein family. In hematological neoplasms, increased MCL-1 gene expression or protein activity is related to disease relapse, poor prognosis and resistance to chemotherapy, especially to ...

Decoding THz‐Driven Dynamic Fingerprints of Ferroelectric Nanotwin Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Ultrafast polarization dynamics in ferroelectrics are of considerable interest for high‐speed tunable dielectrics and electro‐optics. Extended domain wall networks formed in ferroelectric twin nanodomains can support collective dynamics in the terahertz regime but require techniques that track polarization and strain evolution driven by ...

Erektile Dysfunktion bei Männern in der zweiten Lebenshälfte [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018

Spin‐Orbit Torque Induced by Switchable Crystal Inversion Symmetry Breaking

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An exotic crystal inversion symmetry breaking in SrRuO3/BiFeO3 heterostructure is revealed, and it can be reversibly manipulated by the ferroelectric polarization of BiFeO3. This crystal inversion symmetry breaking can dramatically enhance the spin‐orbit torque efficiency in the SrRuO3 layer by more than 60%, providing an alternative to design an ...

The B-box family gene STO (BBX24) in Arabidopsis thaliana regulates flowering time in different pathways. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
Flowering at the appropriate time is crucial for reproductive success and is strongly influenced by various pathways such as photoperiod, circadian clock, FRIGIDA and vernalization.

O hrvatskim frazemima s komponentama drvlje i kamenje

Hepatocyte PIEZO1 Negatively Regulates Lipogenesis and Ameliorates MASLD by Sensing Membrane Tension and Activating AMPK

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hepatocytes are subjected to increased membrane tension along with lipid accumulation. Loss of PIEZO1 exacerbates high‐fat diet‐induced MASLD in mice. Activation of PIEZO1 alleviates high‐fat diet‐induced MASLD in mice. PIEZO1 negatively regulates de novo lipogenesis through activation of CaMKK2‐AMPK pathway. ABSTRACT Liver is a central organ for lipid

Transient Terahertz Oscillations During Photoinduced Polarization Topology Reconfiguration in Ferroelectric Superlattices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Terahertz resonances in crystalline heterostructures could close a spectral gap between conventional electronics and photonics while opening new windows on non‐equilibrium lattice dynamics. Femtosecond optical screening of the depolarization field in epitaxial PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices launches a collective polar mode that oscillates near 1 THz and ...

Temperature dependence of photoluminescence spectra of bilayer two-dimensional electron gases in LaAlO3/SrTiO3 superlattices: coexistence of Auger recombination and single-carrier trapping

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
We report emerging photoluminescence (PL) of bilayer two-dimensional electron gases (2DEG) in LaAlO3/SrTiO3 (LAO/STO) systems. A strong blue PL emerges in bilayer-2DEGs in LAO/STO/LAO/STO which doesn’t show in LAO/STO.
