Risk factors associated with in-hospital mortality in young patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction are poorly described. In addition, it is increasingly recognized that these risk factors might differ from those of older patients.

ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction simulations
The authors present the methods of ECG signal simulation especially ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction known as STEMI. It occurs in the case of blood flow around and towards heart problem. It is strongly associated with a heart attack due to low level of oxygen transported to the heart muscle.

Brugada ST elevation masquerading as ST elevation myocardial infarction [PDF]
Brugada syndrome (BS) is a genetic cardiac syndrome first described in 1992 that is characterized by distinct abnormalities noted in leads V1 and V2 on electrocardiogram. It often leads to syncope or even sudden death in affected patients due to its propensity for ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation.

Tombstoning ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction [PDF]
Tombstoning ST elevation myocardial infarction can be described as a STEMI characterized by tombstoning ST-segment elevation. This myocardial infarction is associated with extensive myocardial damage, reduced left ventricle function, serious hospital complications and poor prognosis.

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Helicobacter pylori Seropositivity in Patients with Interleukin-1 Polymorphisms Is Significantly Associated with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction. [PDF]
Helicobacter pylori infection and interleukin-1 polymorphisms are associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer. We examined the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori seropositivity and interleukin-1 polymorphisms between ST-segment elevation ...
